Man arrested for burglary and assault in Ocean Pines

OCEAN PINES, Maryland – A Snow Hill man was arrested late last week following a burglary investigation.

A victim met with police on Friday to report that her estranged boyfriend, identified as 38-year-old Richard Lehman Jr., entered her apartment in the early hours of June 20 and allegedly took a photo of the victim sleeping in her bed. The victim did not learn of the incident until the next day when she saw it on Lehman’s social media account.

Additionally, Lehman returned to the victim’s home the next day and allegedly knocked before entering uninvited. The victim told police Lehman was looking for her new boyfriend and physically attacked her when she tried to force him out of the house.

A warrant was issued for Lehman’s arrest and he was taken into custody on Sunday. He was being held without bail on charges of fourth-degree burglary and second-degree assault.
