Suspect arrested in connection with April Shreveport shooting

SHREVEPORT, Louisiana (KTAL/KMSS) – A suspect wanted for attempted murder in connection with an April shooting in Shreveport has been arrested.

According to Shreveport police, 19-year-old Laanthony Hobley was wanted in connection with a shooting that occurred on April 17 on Grassmere Street.


He is charged with attempted premeditated murder, illegal use of a firearm and possession of a firearm as a convicted felon.

Following the shooting, detectives’ investigation led to the arrest of a suspect, 30-year-old Shuntara Wilson. She was arrested and faces charges including attempted second-degree murder and aiding and abetting a serious crime.
