ATLANTA — Four people suspected of being involved in a convenience store shooting have been arrested following a high-speed chase involving a Tesla, WSBTV reported.

All four suspects on the run were already out on bond for other crimes and have extensive criminal records, according to records obtained by WSBTV.

Videos from dash cams and helicopters show the Tesla speeding away from a pursuing officer. The suspects, nicknamed “Besties in a Tessie” by APD, drove recklessly, including driving the wrong way into traffic and nearly hitting a pedestrian.

After several minutes, the suspect vehicle came into contact with another car, causing the suspects to briefly lose control and cross the traffic lanes. The driver appeared to regain control before stopping.

The driver attempted to flee on foot but was quickly apprehended by police. A gun was found stuffed in his pant leg, according to the report.

The other suspects were taken into custody without further incident. All four suspects are being held without bail in the Fulton County Jail on numerous criminal charges, including aggravated assault, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony and gang charges, according to The report.
