Police investigate accident at Limington intersection in which one person died and four were injured

A three-vehicle crash in Limington that killed a Massachusetts man and damaged part of a home is under investigation.

According to Maine State Police, the accident occurred around noon Saturday at the intersection of Route 117 and Route 11. Three vehicles collided at the intersection, one of which struck the porch of a house.

The backseat passenger in one of the vehicles, 32-year-old Casey Lubell of Ipswich, Massachusetts, was pronounced dead at the scene. Four other people were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The road was closed for about three hours.

The circumstances leading to the crash are currently being investigated.
