Man sprayed with pepper spray and taser after police and SWAT respond to Miamisburg apartment

The road was closed at Third Street and other residents were evacuated from the apartment building.

SWAT teams from Kettering arrived along with police units from West Carrollton, Miami Twp. and Miamisburg.

The man was arrested after being pepper sprayed and tasered. He was taken to Kettering Health Miamisburg. According to the city, he was arrested on preliminary charges of obstruction of justice and panic-mongering.

No injuries were reported.

The Miami Valley Fire District ventilated the apartment so police could search the home.
