Missing 85-year-old man subject of new Silver Alert

PHOENIX – Authorities issued a Silver Alert Sunday evening for a missing 85-year-old man.

According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, Robert Pollman was last seen around 3:45 p.m. as he left the Brookhaven assisted living facility in northeast Scottsdale.

Brookhaven is located in the area of ​​Shea Boulevard and 124th Street.

Pollman has been at the facility for two weeks and is unfamiliar with the area, DPS said.

Pollman is 5’6″ tall, weighs 185 pounds, and has brown hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing blue-gray flannel with a blue collared shirt underneath, blue jeans, and blue shoes.

Pollman left the scene on foot and did not have a phone with him, DPS said.

He suffers from an illness that causes him to get easily lost and confused, authorities said.
