Burns & Wilcox Unveils Houston Expansion

Wholesale insurance broker and underwriting manager Burns & Wilcox has named Lynn Patino (pictured) as managing director of its Houston office while revealing plans to strengthen the company’s presence in the Greater Houston area. Houston by establishing a second office in The Woodlands.

Patino brings more than a decade and a half of industry experience to Burns & Wilcox. Starting as a carrier underwriter, she later held brokerage positions at Marsh, Alliant and Aon. The key candidate is a specialist in large global real estate investments, who most recently led Aon’s middle market practice in the southern region.

“Houston is a thriving city with a robust surplus and excess insurance market that increasingly demands the innovative solutions offered by Burns & Wilcox,” said Bob Quillman, regional vice president for Texas at Burns & Wilcox.

“Lynn is well-equipped to step in and immediately drive additional growth for our Houston team, while aggressively recruiting top talent to work out of our new office in The Woodlands as well as our existing Houston location.” »

The new office is expected to open later this year.

Quillman added, “Under Lynn’s leadership, we expect our two Houston offices to be among the fastest growing within Burns & Wilcox.
