Man arrested on federal charges after drugs, weapons and cash found

According to BCSO, five handguns, a rifle, over $30,000 worth of jewelry, cocaine, Xanax pills, marijuana, THC, scales, money counting machines and drug packaging were found.

CONVERSE, Texas – A man was arrested on numerous charges after Bexar County Sheriff’s Office officers found drugs, guns, cash and more in his home, the BCSO said.

Alejandro Cordova, 26, was arrested on a federal court charge after being found in possession of an illegal gun exchange, cocaine, Xanax, THC, marijuana and drug paraphernalia, according to BCSO.

Last week, the BCSO Organized Crime Unit executed a search warrant for the 10100 block of Cricket Place in East Bexar County.

When officers entered the home, they said they found approximately $35,000 in cash, as well as five handguns, a rifle, more than $30,000 worth of jewelry, cocaine, Xanax pills, marijuana, THC, scales, money counting machines and drug packaging.

Cordova was taken into custody and booked into the Bexar County Jail for possession of less than 200 grams of a controlled substance with intent to sell, possession of less than 5 pounds of marijuana, possession of illegal pills and possession of an instrument of crime (illegal exchange), according to the BCSO.
