1 dead and 2 injured in 6-car pileup in Greenville, County.

GREENVILLE COUNTY, SC (WSPA) – One person was killed and two others injured in a six-car pileup in Greenville County Sunday morning.

According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol, the accident occurred at 11:52 a.m. on SC Highway 418.

Police said all six vehicles were traveling east on South Carolina Highway 418 when a 2014 Honda SUV and a 2012 Dodge SUV were stopped in traffic.

A Ford motorhome (model year 2016) pulling a FIAT (model year 2025) collided with the Honda, which caused the Honda to collide with the Dodge, which in turn caused a Free motorhome (model year 2019) to collide with the Ford motorhome.

The FIAT, towed by Ford Motor Home, took off and landed on a 2021 Toyota SUV.

Two passengers in the Toyota SUV were taken to hospital for their injuries.

One of the passengers of the Free Motor Home was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity was not released.
