The weather pattern will continue to be dominated by high pressure over the next few days, so there will be no precipitation.

– There is a slight chance of late afternoon thunderstorms, which could provide some short-term relief from the heat.

Weather days of the first warning From Monday to Wednesday temperatures will remain high, with daily highs exceeding 35 degrees and perceived temperatures in the range of 40 to 42 degrees.

These are dangerously hot and humid conditions, so if you must work outside, take plenty of breaks, drink plenty of water, and seek shade whenever possible to avoid direct heat.

From Monday to Wednesday the probability of rain remains low, only the probability of a few isolated showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon is 20%.

Our best chance for rain will be Thursday when another front attempts to move into the Carolinas, giving us a 40% chance of isolated showers/thunderstorms.

However, do not expect much cooling from this front, as maximum temperatures are expected to remain at around 35 degrees Celsius on Thursday and Friday.

Thursday: Still hot and humid with a higher chance of showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon. Chance of rain around 40%. Highs around 35 degrees, heat index at 39 degrees.

Friday: A few isolated showers possible, otherwise hot and humid. Maximum temperatures around 35 degrees with a heat index of around 38 degrees.
