Man charged with sexual abuse of teen | News from Guam

A 42-year-old man was accused of sexually abusing a young girl twice.

On Friday, Guam Police Department officers responded to a sexual abuse complaint at a residence in Sinajana, where a 17-year-old girl accused 42-year-old Frankie Junior Ignacio of sexually assaulting her twice earlier this year.

According to the Justice of the Peace’s complaint filed with the Supreme Court of Guam, the juvenile described how she was sleeping in her bedroom on April 24 when Ignacio allegedly entered the room and “forced the victim to sit on his lap” before sexually assaulting her.

“The victim ordered the defendant to stop and attempted to run away, but the defendant prevented her. The victim eventually managed to escape,” the complaint states.

Several weeks later, on May 18, the minor was at an Ordot apartment when Ignacio allegedly instructed her to sleep in his bed. Then, while the minor was trying to sleep, Ignacio sexually abused her, according to the indictment.

Ignacio was charged with third-degree sexual abuse as a second-degree felony and two counts of fourth-degree sexual abuse as a third-degree felony.
