Tamayo Perry, actor from “Pirates of the Caribbean”, killed in shark attack

Tamayo Perry, who is in the Pirates of the Caribbean Franchise, has died after a shark attack. According to Sky NewsMr Perry, a lifeguard and surf instructor with Ocean Safety, was attacked by a shark off Oahu in Hawaii. The attack happened near Goat Island on Sunday and Mr Perry was spotted by a man who alerted emergency services. When officers arrived at the scene, they brought Mr Perry to shore on a jet ski. However, the actor was pronounced dead on the beach.

The 49-year-old was also in Charlie’s Angels – Full Throttle And Blue Swarmaccording to the Sky News Report. He was also involved in the Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tidesthe fourth film in the series.

The film was released in 2011 and also starred Penelope Cruz and Geoffrey Rush.

The BBC Kurt Lager, acting director of Honolulu Ocean Safety, said Mr. Perry was “a lifeguard loved by all.” He added that Mr. Perry was well known both on the North Shore of Oahu and around the world.

“Tamayo’s personality was infectious and as much as people loved him, he loved everyone else even more. Our condolences go out to Tamayo’s family,” Lager said.

Mayor Rick Blangiardi expressed similar views, calling Perry’s death “a tragic loss,” according to the BBC Report.

“Tamayo was a legendary and highly respected sailor. He grew up here and was just a great member of our marine safety team,” the mayor continued.

Mr Perry, who worked as a lifeguard on the North Shore, began his career with the Ocean Safety department in July 2016. Sky News says the report.
