Isolated thunderstorms in the Pittsburgh area

Each storm will bring heavy downpours, as well as damaging winds and some hail. The risk of tornadoes is low, but not zero. Meteorologist Brian Hutton Jr. said the storms will move through the area later in the evening. Rain should move out in large quantities by 10 p.m., with clouds slowly dissipating overnight. Aside from scattered fog, we can expect partly cloudy skies on Monday morning with seasonal temperatures and lower humidity. The respite will be short-lived, however, as highs climb back to near 90 degrees on Tuesday with higher humidity. Wednesday is an impact day with rain and storms. Then the heat and humidity will ease again briefly before the weekend turns warm and humid.

Towards the end of the day, a cold front will bring strong to severe storms.

Meteorologist Brian Hutton Jr. said thunderstorms will move through the area during the evening. By 10 p.m., the rain should have cleared in large amounts and the clouds should slowly dissipate overnight.

Besides the fog Monday morning, we can expect partly cloudy skies with seasonal temperatures and lower humidity. The respite will be short-lived, however, as highs on Tuesday will be back near 90 degrees with higher humidity.

Wednesday is an impact day for rain and storms. Then the heat and humidity will ease briefly before it becomes warm and humid until the weekend.
