13-year-old girl raped by father, uncle and cousin in Pune

Pune: The father, uncle and cousin of a 13-year-old girl were arrested for allegedly repeatedly raping the girl.

Her cruel act came to light when the teenage victim recounted her ordeal during a class on “good and bad touch” at school. School authorities then informed the police.

According to police, the victim’s cousin raped her in July 2023. In January 2024, she was allegedly sexually abused by her uncle. When she protested, her uncle allegedly beat her. The girl’s father also raped her repeatedly.

While her father and uncle are in their forties, her cousin is in his twenties.

The three were arrested for rape under the Indian Penal Code and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.
