Photo Story: Man arrested for allegedly breaking into marijuana store – The Pajaronian

One suspect was taken into custody and another suspect was at large in Watsonville Sunday evening after being charged with attempting to break into a marijuana dispensary.

Watsonville Police Sergeant Brian Fulgoni said police received an alarm at The Catalyst Cannabis in the 1300 block of West Beach Street just after 8 p.m. After surrounding the area with officers and a sniffer dog, police deployed two drones. They then flushed out one suspect while the other fled. The incident remains under investigation.

The incident is one of several break-ins at marijuana dispensaries. In May, several armed suspects broke into The Hook dispensary at 11 Hangar Way in a vehicle and fled. A chase began that led to Highway 1, across Highway 17 and into Hayward. No arrests were made.
