Sister of man hit and killed in car last weekend in Atlanta learned of his death days later – WSB-TV Channel 2

ATLANTA — The family of a 38-year-old man who was struck and killed by a car last Saturday held a vigil in his memory Sunday.

Family tells us Rodney Reeves Jr. and another man were on Pryor Road when they were shot.

His sister tells us that they only learned of his death on Thursday.

“It was just a horrible tragedy that no one expected, and to find out a week later, it was even worse knowing that no one was with him the whole time,” Nekelia Byrd said.
