Absecon man killed in motorcycle crash in Galloway

In a Facebook post, Galloway police said they were called to East Moss Mill Road near the intersection with Sander Place at around 12:17 a.m. on a report of an accident. When police arrived, they found Joseph Stetser and a 2006 Harley Davidson motorcycle in the road. Stetser was pronounced dead at the scene.

According to police, a preliminary investigation indicates that Stetser was traveling westbound on East Moss Mill Road when he struck a railing west of the Sander Place intersection. Stetser was thrown from his motorcycle.

There were no witnesses, police said, and the accident remains under investigation by the Galloway Police Department’s Traffic Safety Unit. Anyone with information about the accident is asked to contact Officer Nicholas Stewart at 609-652-3705, extension 5107.
