Ottawa police investigate dead woman

OTTAWA, Kansas – Ottawa police are conducting a death investigation after a person was found dead.

On Friday, June 21, at approximately 2:40 p.m., officers were called to the 600 block of East Logan Street for a reported death.

Upon arrival, a 33-year-old woman from Ottawa was found dead. The cause of death is currently unknown and remains under investigation.

According to Ottawa police, there is no known danger to the public from this incident.
