Stabbing at Dartmouth Mall under investigation

DARTMOUTH – One person was hospitalized Sunday afternoon following an alleged stabbing in the Dartmouth Mall parking lot.

According to a police news release, police responded to a call to Dartmouth Mall around 2:50 p.m. about a possible stabbing in the parking lot in front of Five Below.

“Upon arrival, officers found a victim with what appeared to be non-life-threatening stab wounds. The victim was transported to a local hospital and a suspect was taken into custody. Both parties are reportedly minors,” the press release states.

Detectives are investigating the incident.
