Man killed in broad daylight shooting in southeast DC

WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) is investigating after a man was shot and killed Sunday afternoon.

Shortly after 2:10 p.m., officers arrived at the 200 block of 37th Place SE. There they found a man who had been shot.

The man died at the scene of the accident.

According to MPD, people should be on the lookout for a gray Nissan sedan with Maryland plates, silver mirrors and tinted windows. It was last seen heading toward Ridge Road, Southeast.
