“I saw the news today that we lost one of WildStorm’s most beloved people, Sarah Becker,” writer Jeff Mariotte wrote on Facebook on Sunday. “Even if you weren’t into comics in the ’90s, you might remember her from ‘The Real World’ (and from the opening episode of her season, parts of which were filmed in our offices and at Sarah’s wild going-away party).”

Mariotte said Becker “brought sunshine into every room she walked into. The fans loved her and so did we all.”

Joel Benjamin wrote: “I just learned that one of the kindest people I have ever had in my life, especially during the formative periods of my life, has passed away. Every time I thought of her, I saw her smile and bubbly personality. You were loved and will be missed. Rest in peace, Sarah Becker.”

“I’ll never forget the way you smiled as you roller skated past the pit, complimenting me on my high socks and making me blush,” Garza added.

“You were the one who discovered my art in a stack of photocopies. I owe you everything.💕 an amazing person, over the rainbow, you will be missed, rest in peace, Sarah Becker💕.”
