Two violent guests arrested in Downtown Disney District

An altercation in the Downtown Disney District was recorded on social media, which resulted in the arrest of two violent guests near the Naples Ristorante e Bar.

Last week, Instagram user @anaheimchisme reported a violent altercation between an intoxicated guest, police officers and security personnel. The incident resulted in two arrests.

In the video, officers attempt to detain a guest and eventually pull him to the ground. People shout obscenities while security personnel attempt to keep other guests out of the area.

An Instagram comment from a Cast Member who works at Naples Ristorante e Bar states that the arrested people started hitting the police officers before they were finally arrested. Although we don’t know what sparked the altercation, another Instagram user who was sitting at Earl of Sandwich when the incident occurred claims that the man in the video was giving security the middle finger and yelling at the police officers. He also states that security followed the arrested suspects for a while and that a woman yelled at security to leave her alone.

No further information about this incident has been released so far.

Violence continues to be an issue at both the Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort. Just last week, two drunken guests attacked a Cast Member at the Space 220 Restaurant in EPCOT. The two violent guests were arrested after one of them was shot with a taser. Last year, a bloody brawl broke out outside the Main Street USA Train Station in the Magic Kingdom. A few months later, a major brawl broke out in Tomorrowland.
