Wichita police search for suspect in fatal hit-and-run

WICHITA, Kansas (KSNW) – Wichita police are searching for the suspect in a fatal hit-and-run crash early Sunday morning.

According to Sergeant Brandon Hall of the Wichita Police Department, officers responded to a report of an accident at North McLean Boulevard and West Central Avenue at 3:15 a.m.


When officers arrived at the scene, they found a man in his twenties dead from a hit-and-run accident.

The investigation is ongoing.

“We have our serious accident that we are still investigating. We are still trying to get all the details straight, there are some things that we are not sure about yet,” Hall said. “We are still trying to contact any witnesses that we have.”
