10 “negligent” forestry employees suspended | India News

Following a review session on wildfires and impending fires Char Dham Yatra on Wednesday, Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami ordered suspension and disciplinary action against 17 Forest Service employees for “negligence and dereliction of duty”. Of these, 10 were suspended, 5 others were “assigned to headquarters” and two employees were sent show-cause notices.
