Police officer arrested for revenge pornography in Attica

A 35-year-old police officer was arrested in Attica on Saturday for revenge pornography following a complaint filed and an investigation by the Cybersecurity Unit.

The investigation led to his arrest for publicly sharing a video showing a woman’s sexual acts. After a search of his house, a phone and a hard drive were seized for police examination.

In addition, an internal police disciplinary investigation is underway. The officer was brought before a public prosecutor and transferred to a magistrate.
