ATLANTA, Georgia (Atlanta News First) – Police say one person died and two others were hospitalized following a crash in northwest Atlanta Saturday night.

The driver of the Edge, a 33-year-old woman, and the driver of the Jetta, a 31-year-old man, were taken to hospital in stable condition.

Police believe the Edge was turning left onto Joseph E. Lowery Boulevard NW when it suddenly stopped at the intersection and was struck by the Jetta. Officials have not released the name of the deceased man or filed charges.
