Waterloo woman faces long list of charges after drunk driving incident


A 25-year-old man faces a long list of charges following a drink-driving incident in Waterloo last night.

According to Waterloo Regional Police, the incident occurred around 10:30 p.m. in the area of ​​Beechwood Dr. and Erb St.

The driver lost control of her vehicle, left the road and crashed into a mailbox.

The woman then returned to the road and fled the scene of the accident.

No one was injured in the incident.

The 25-year-old woman from Waterloo was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, dangerous driving, failure to obey a driving licence and failure to produce a valid driver’s licence.

Police would like to speak to witnesses and view dashcam footage of the incident.
