Woman says German Shepherd attacked her, her pet, in Morris Heights

A woman says a dog attacked her and her pet in Morris Heights Saturday night — and her dog has been missing ever since.

Crystal Bones says she was walking her dog Kody on their evening walk before dinner when a German Shepherd broke out of the gate and attacked her and her dog.

Bones says she was left with bites and bruises, while her dog Kody was also bitten and chased away. She hasn’t seen Kody since.

Bones says she has sent out over 400 fliers since Saturday in search of her fur baby. On Tuesday evening she received an anonymous tip that a person was in custody of her dog.

Bones says she hopes Kody returns home soon.
