Boy, 16, injured when truck’s mirrors collide south of Houston

A 16-year-old boy was injured Saturday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash on Highway H, about 10 miles south of Houston, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.

Cpl. Stacy Crewse said a westbound 2001 GMC Sierra driven by the Willow Springs boy and a Chevrolet Silverado driven by an unknown driver met on a ridge and struck side mirrors around 3:40 p.m.

The boy, who was wearing a seat belt, was transported in a private vehicle to Texas County Memorial Hospital with minor injuries.
