Man seriously injured in collision with ambulance in Miller Place

A 41-year-old man was seriously injured in an accident involving an ambulance in Miller Place on Saturday evening.

According to authorities, the incident occurred around 6:30 p.m. at the corner of Parkside Avenue and 25A.

According to police, Matthew Goff was attempting to turn onto Parkside Avenue when he collided with the ambulance. He was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

Authorities said two ambulance workers were hospitalized with injuries that are not considered life-threatening.
