Suraj Revanna sexual abuse case: Victim brought to Bengaluru for medical examination

The youth, who lodged a complaint with Holenarasipur police alleging that he was sexually harassed by JD(S) MP Suraj Revanna, refused to undergo a medical examination in Hassan. Police took him to Bowring Hospital in Bengaluru for medical examination.

The 27-year-old youth insisted in his statement to the police that he had no faith in the staff at Hassan, which the accused’s family could influence. He insisted that the medical tests be conducted in Bengaluru. The police brought him to the capital on Saturday evening.

The youth, hailing from Arakalgud, filed a complaint on Saturday alleging that the legislator sexually harassed him on June 16 at his farm in Gannikada in Holenarasipur taluk.

Meanwhile, in Hassan, the police arrested the accused Suraj Revanna and took him to the Hassan Institute of Medical Sciences for a medical examination.
