Reports of large crowds lead to massive police deployment in Exposition Park

Reports of a large crowd gathering in Exposition Park on Saturday triggered a massive police response.

According to Los Angeles police, they were called to the scene near Martin Luther King Jr. Park at the corner of 39th and Western Streets around 10:30 p.m. after receiving reports of a fight in the area.

The circumstances of the incident are still unclear, but as SkyCal walked through the scene, a large number of officers could be seen standing near the crowd. Some appeared to be wearing riot gear.

It is unclear whether any arrests were made.
