Atlanta Braves News: Minter rehab, total loss, more

The Braves lost a game to a very good Yankees team, tying the series at 1-1. Meanwhile, AJ Minter looked strong while rehabbing on the farm, as the return of what would be another big piece of the bullpen appears near. Minter would only help what has been a very good pitching staff this season for Atlanta, as AJ has been one of the best relievers in baseball when healthy over the past few years. The offense appears to have woken up, with a strong performance from Jarred Kelenic leading the way, Marcell Ozuna continuing to go crazy in 2024, and some of the team’s other pieces regaining some mojo at the plate. A series win is on the line for the Yankee Stadium team behind Max Fried, and it would be a fantastic result to continue the momentum they finally found after such a long period of struggle.

AJ Minter struck out three during his rehab in a single inning, allowing one hit and one unearned run. We will see if this performance was enough to allow him to avoid any further appearances in rehab.

The Braves lost a game solidly to the Yankees, 8-3, while Marcell Ozuna continued his incredible season with a home run.
