Six men arrested in raid on PPB prostitution scene

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) – Six men were arrested Thursday in a Portland police crackdown on prostitution, authorities said.

Police focused on a section of Southeast 82nd Avenue and arrested the men – aged between 20 and 43 – on charges of soliciting prostitution and sexual solicitation.

One of the men was also charged with possession of a loaded firearm in public.

Police said they identified other possible suspects during the operation, confiscated a pistol and towed two vehicles.
