Bills WR Khalil Shakir returns to practice with Eric Molds after injury

Just as the Buffalo Bills were settling into mandatory minicamp earlier this month, concerning reports were circulating regarding an injury wide receiver Khalil Shakir suffered on the first day of practice.

Much was unknown beyond the injury that appeared to affect his lower left leg, with the biggest piece of evidence being the compression sleeve he was observed wearing in the days that followed – which included his appearance on the sidelines the day after his injury.

Now, less than two weeks after the initial injury, it appears Shakir is on the mend and doing well as he continues to train with Bills legend Eric Molds and his team known as Optimal Athletic Training. Shakir began training last offseason with Molds, and their bond appears to be growing stronger as they work together to ensure Shakir has the biggest impact on the field possible in his third season with Buffalo.

The positive Banged Up Bills report is a sigh of relief for a team that is sure to be looking in Shakir’s direction for someone to step in in the absence of Stefon Diggs and Gabe Davis.

Organizationally, the Bills have dedicated a significant portion of their offseason to highlighting Khalil Shakir, allowing fans to get to know him better both off and on the field – which includes his work with Moulds, who has been one of the best of all time. playing wide receiver for the Buffalo Bills. Certainly, Teddy Bruschi remembers Eric Moulds.
