Tax collector suspends MPHEO for negligence

PADERU (ASR DISTRICT): District Collector M. Vijaya Sunitha suspended MPHEO J. Venkatarao, who works at Pedabayalu Primary Health Centre in Alluri SItarama Raju district. She inspected this PHC without any notice on Saturday.

She expressed her anger at MPHEO’s lack of field visits, lack of documentation and negligence towards victims despite the onset of malaria season. She was immediately suspended.

The customs officer was upset because the details of the ORS packets received by the staff were not recorded in the warehouse register and Pavani, the pharmacist, said she was not aware of the arrival of the goods. The customs officer phoned DMHO to issue a request for comment to Pavani. The customs officer reprimanded the medical officer Satyasri for not turning up for a delivery.
