Oklahoma middle school principal arrested for drunk driving | KSNF/KODE

JAY, Oklahoma – A Delaware County school principal was taken into custody Saturday on suspicion of driving while intoxicated, his second offense.

Bryon Dean Arnold, 48, of Colcord was arrested after midnight on charges of driving under the influence and carrying an open container. He remains in the Delaware County Jail, where his bond has not yet been set.

Arnold is the principal of a middle school in Kansas, Oklahoma.

Attempts to reach school administrators over the weekend were unsuccessful. Delaware County court records show Arnold’s driver’s license was revoked on February 3, 2023, for refusing to take a “state chemical test” or breathalyzer test.

His driving license was revoked on April 23, 2023, after the representative of the Ministry of Public Safety failed to appear for the hearing, court records show.
