40-year-old man dead after motorcycle accident in Clinton County

According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, a man has died after a crash in Clinton County early Saturday morning. According to OSHP, the crash occurred after Jeffrey Horton, 40, riding a 2005 Suzuki Boulevard motorcycle struck the rear of a 2012 Chevrolet Suburban and was ejected from his vehicle. Both were traveling eastbound on State Route 28. According to police, the crash occurred at approximately 1:31 a.m. Horton was subsequently transported to Miami Valley Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. According to police, Horton was not wearing a helmet when he crashed. The driver of the Chevrolet was wearing a seatbelt and did not suffer any injuries. According to OSHP, the crash remains under investigation.
