Missing person report issued for 15-year-old girl from Jackson

JACKSON, Mississippi (WJTV) – A missing/endangered person report has been issued for a 15-year-old girl from Jackson.

Agents with the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation (MBI) said Takayla Nelson was last seen on Sunday, June 16, around 10 p.m. in the 2300 block of McFadden Road in Hinds County. She was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, black tights, and white claw slippers.

Family members said Nelson suffers from a medical condition that could impair her judgment.
