Lady Gaga tells Oprah she was repeatedly raped at age 19

Lady Gaga burst into tears as she told Oprah that she developed post-traumatic stress disorder after being raped “multiple times” at the age of 19.

The Poker face The hitmaker spoke about the horrific experiences she went through as a teenager and admits that she was never able to “get over” the trauma.

“I was repeatedly raped when I was 19, and I also developed post-traumatic stress disorder as a result of the rape and not processing that trauma,” Gaga said onstage at Oprah’s 2020 “Vision: Your Life in Focus” tour. Rolling Stone.

Gaga also had a difficult time during her rise to fame, as she was never able to “cope” with the change or process the things she had gone through when she was younger.

“I suddenly became a star and traveled around the world, from the hotel room to the garage to the limousine to the stage, and I had never done anything about it, and then suddenly I started feeling this incredibly intense pain throughout my body that was similar to what I felt after I was raped,” she said.

And the 33-year-old singer also spoke about her fibromyalgia diagnosis, admitting that it left her in “pain from head to toe.”

Nevertheless, the singer took the stage in Las Vegas on New Year’s Eve to ring in 2020.
