LANDOVER, Maryland. – The Prince George’s County Police Department Homicide Unit is investigating a fatal shooting that occurred Thursday evening in Landover. The victim is 33-year-old Michael Thomas, of no fixed address. A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment in this case.

On June 20, 2024, at approximately 5:15 p.m., officers responded to a shooting in the 2500 block of Kent Town Place. Officers found the victim outside with a gunshot wound. He was transported to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Investigators are working to identify one or more suspects and determine a motive.
