Bicycle thief arrested in Chico; bike returned to owner | News

CHICO, California. – A bicycle thief was arrested and officers returned the bike to its rightful owner, Chico police said.

On Wednesday, a community service officer received a report of a stolen bicycle and began investigating the incident.

A day later, a night watch team encountered a person who owned a bicycle that matched the description of the stolen bike, police reported.

After confirming that the bike was the stolen bike, the suspect was arrested by police.
