2 people hospitalized after three-vehicle crash on Barstow Avenue in Fresno

FRESNO, CA (June 21, 2024) – Two people were injured in a three-car crash at the corner of Barstow Avenue and 4th Street.

According to Fresno police officials, the multi-car crash occurred around 12:45 p.m. Sunday. For an unknown reason, a driver disregarded oncoming traffic on 4th Street. The driver then turned onto Barstow Avenue and collided with two eastbound drivers.

Fresno police responded shortly afterward and paramedics took two people to a hospital, including one person with serious injuries. Authorities learned that neither alcohol nor drugs were a factor in the crash. However, they noted that there was a stop sign for northbound traffic where the driver had failed to yield.
