James City County police are seeking help locating the sexual assault suspect

JAMES CITY COUNTY, Va. (WAVY) – James City County police are asking for assistance in locating 21-year-old Nijhad “Jhad” Johnson on sexual assault and kidnapping charges, police said.

The crime occurred in the 6400 block of Richmond Road. on April 22, 2024 at around 11 a.m. Police advised the public not to approach or arrest Johnson, but instead to call police.

Johnson is approximately 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighs 150 pounds, has brown hair and brown eyes, and was last seen wearing a black hoodie, black graffiti-print pants, black shoes and a black durag. A last known address is 1979 Greenleaf Dr., Norfolk, VA 23523.
