Woman arrested after allegedly leaving toddler alone in car for hours while at casino | News

CATOOSA, Oklahoma – A woman was arrested by Catoosa police and later charged with child neglect after leaving her toddler alone in a car for hours while she was staying at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino.

On May 31st at around 3 p.m., police went to the casino after security noticed the child alone in the car.

When police arrived on the scene and saw the child, the mother, a woman named Dacie Yeager, came out of the casino and claimed she had only been inside for 20 minutes.

Police said this was later proven false after surveillance camera footage showed her staying in the casino for several hours.

She was later taken to the Rogers County Jail and charged with child neglect.

The child was placed in the care of the youth welfare office.
