Police – NBC New York

According to the New York Police Department, a man was the victim of a fatal stabbing at a train station in Upper Manhattan on Friday evening.

The incident occurred around 5:55 p.m. at the A-train station at West 175th Street and Fort Washington Avenue in Washington Heights.

The victim, a 40-year-old man, suffered multiple stab wounds to his upper body, police said. Emergency medical services took him to Harlem Hospital, where he died of his injuries.

Law enforcement sources told NBC New York that the stabbing was the result of an argument.

No information about the suspects has been released. The police investigation is still ongoing.
