1 person flown out, 1 arrested after stabbing in Good Hope

GOOD HOPE, W.Va. (WBOY) — One person was airlifted to the hospital and another is in custody after emergency responders were called to a stabbing incident in Good Hope Friday night.

According to the Harrison County 911 Media Log, emergency responders were notified of a stabbing incident off Good Hope Pike in Good Hope at approximately 7:26 p.m. 12 News sent a team of reporters to the scene, who witnessed one person being airlifted by Healthnet Aeromedical Services.


At the scene, reporters saw that the area near Puckett’s Processing was marked with yellow police tape and that several police officers were speaking with civilians at the scene. Reporters also saw police officers handcuff a woman, load her into a patrol car and leave the scene.

Officials could not confirm any details about the incident or the condition of the injured person.

Crews from the West Milford and Nutter Fort fire departments, Harrison County Sheriff’s Office, West Virginia State Police, West Virginia Department of Natural Resources and Harrison County EMS arrived at the scene.

The Harrison County Sheriff’s Office is investigating this incident.
