Indiana State Police issue Silver Alert for missing 50-year-old

FRANKLIN COUNTY, Indiana – Indiana State Police have issued a Silver Alert for a missing 50-year-old man.

According to a news release, Roger Purcell of West Harrison was last seen around 11 p.m. Thursday. Police described Purcell as a 5-foot-10, 250-pound man with black hair and brown eyes.

Purcell was wearing a gray tank top and white shorts at the time of his disappearance. Officials believe Purcell is in extreme danger and may require medical attention.

ISP encourages anyone with information on Purcell’s whereabouts to contact the Franklin County Sheriff’s Department at (765) 647-4138. Anyone who finds Purcell can also call 911.
