Tarkhani police said they had arrested a man accused of rape.

On Friday, a 14-year-old girl was on her way to a shop when accused Mansab alias Murti Loona and Umair alias Ghorra from the same area were overpowered.

They took her to a nearby house where the accused Mansab raped her with the help of his accomplice.

Based on Shabbir Hussain’s complaint, the police registered a case and launched an investigation.

A special team was formed and nabbed the accused Mansab Murti.
