Weather warning: Severe weather warning for central Montana and northeast Wyoming | Weather in Montana

MONTANA – A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for north-central Montana until 8 p.m. and for Big Horn County Montana and north-central and northeast Wyoming until 9 p.m.

Today, severe storms can produce damaging winds of up to 65 miles per hour, large hail up to 2 inches in diameter, and heavy rains that could trigger flood warnings.

We also can’t rule out the possibility of a tornado, so keep an eye on the weather and get a way to receive weather alerts! The storms will reach the eastern plains around 7 p.m. and exit the state early Saturday morning.
